◎The Two Ways to Open the Third Eye
The most significant aspect of Shiva is that
he opened his third eye.
After thousands of years, we still bow down to him because
there is no substitute for knowing.
To know is to be free. And there is no way to know unless
your perception is enhanced beyond its present limitations.
沒有東西可以代替知道, 知道就是自由。
除非(超越目前限制)增強感知，否則沒辦法知道。
Shiva perceived what most human beings failed to perceive.
What is unseen for a large segment of humanity
became a normal part of his vision.
That is what the third eye means.
濕婆感知到大多數人沒感知到的東西,
大部分人看不見的東西成為他視野的正常部分。
這就是第三隻眼的意思。
When Shiva opened his third eye,
Within himself, he burnt everything mattered to him,
he burnt every shred of ignorance–
everything that one believes as true.
當第三眼打開時,他內心便燒毀了每一絲無知(人們認為真實的一切)。
Once this was done,
the opening of the third eye could not be denied to him.
There are two ways of opening the third eye:
(有兩種方法可以打開第三眼)
1.The inside has become a total vacuum,
Shiva has burnt his very being (thought/ emotion/
relationships/ possessions),
There is a total vacuum,
so the doorway gets sucked in and has to naturally open.
2.You contain everything inside.
You do not find any expression for your thought/ emotion/
anything else.
If remain silent for 4 days,
on the 5th day you will suddenly feel like singing,
If not knowing how to sing, you will want to howl,
because you want to let go,
But if not let anything go, so much pressure will built up
that the door will get knocked open from inside.
◎Middle path(中間路線) ＝哪裡都不去
The middle path＝a way of not getting anywhere.
The middle path is just your comfort zone,
neither this nor that.
中間路線只是你的舒適區,哪裡都不想去(結果哪裡也去不了).
It means you do not wish to go anywhere.
People believe in the middle path
are determined not to get anywhere in their life.
